Those who truly want to honor mothers must protect women. Appreciation requires more than one day. It requires safety, respect, and change.
No flowers without change.
The escalation of the armed conflict between Iran and the US and Israel particularly affects Kurdish women: female fighters from opposition parties in camps in northern Iraq (Bashur), political prisoners in Iranian prisons, and civilians in Rojhilat, the Iranian part of Kurdistan.
